  Solution #1   If you are using Mozilla's Safari

 

 

•Apple's QuickTime must be installed on your computer
but most Safari users already have it.
Yet, you still get the missing Plug-in message.

 

Open your QuickTime program.
To do this, click the Start button and go to:
Programs → QuickTime → QuickTime player

• The player will appear

  1: Go to the Edit menu
2: Select Preferences
3: Then select QuickTime preferences...

• This menu will appear

  1: Go to the Browser tab
2: Click the MIME Settings ... button

• This menu will appear

  •Press the Plus sign of the Audio section.

• The menu will open

  1: Tick the MIDI option
2: Click OK
3: Click OK

To

1: Return to Firefox
2: Bookmark the page you were on
3: Close Firefox
4: Restart Firefox

 

 

  Solution #2

 

 

In order to hear these exercises on your computer

you need:

A soundcard 
connected to amplified speakers.
Make sure the volume is turned up.

The exercises are in the M.I.D.I. format.
(Musical instrument digital interface)
(.mid extension)
Most soundcards are compatible
with this format.

 

The volume of the MIDI synthesizer
must be raised.
To check this, click the Start button and go to:
Programs → Accessories → Entertainment → Volume control

  1: Locate the MIDI strip on the mixer
2: Make sure the MIDI strip is not muted
3: Adjust the MIDI volume cursor

Note: If there is no MIDI strip on the mixer,
go to the Options menu and click on Properties

Tick the MIDI check box in the list

 

 

There are three sounds used in these rhythm exercises
